The Regent: mixed use on a vibrant street

This project retained The Regent, an original Victorian building which had been vacant for over a decade. Our proposals wrapped a new residential development of 20 apartments around three sides of the retained building. A new “local” supermarket at ground (and lower ground) level enhances the vibrant shopping street at the heart of the Hill Road Conservation Area in Clevedon.

The retained facade of the original building has been restored along with the original shop front.

The modern additions contrast and complement the Victorian building with ashlar and rubble stone facades to provide continuity of materials.
