St John’s: heritage conversion of a Victorian primary school

We designed and gained planning permission for the conversion of this Grade II listed Victorian school building at the top of Blackboy Hill next to The Downs in Bristol. The retained building, with it’s distinctive diaper patterned tiled roof, was sensitively divided into five houses, with a further two “mews” style houses against the rear wall of the former playground.
