Clifton High School Sixth Form Centre

A new building, connected to a Grade II Listed building on the existing school campus.

We were invited to take part in a ‘mini-competition’ [paid] with an other architect, and our design was preferred.

The proposed new building lies within the Clifton Conservation Area and to the rear of a Grade II Listed Building. In response to this historic setting alongside the diverse requirements of the educational brief, the development combines traditional materials with contemporary forms to create a dynamic, open plan space with the flexibility to accommodate a range of functions.

Our scheme, enthusiastically supported by local amenity groups, received full planning and listed building consents and is currently on site with O’LearyGoss acting as Contract Administration and Principal Designer under a traditional JCT contract. Due to complete autumn 2022.
