This design for an extended Resource Centre and IT suite for pupils created a larger space within the existing roof by adding gabled dormers and a small extension.

A complex structural solution enabled the creation of a new mezzanine floor, accessed by a single staircase that connects the existing and new spaces. Key features such as the adjacent Chapel gable wall are retained.

Our design minimised impact to the surrounding buildings and Conservation Area by keeping the new dormers within the existing roof lines. The materials used for the new dormers and new parts of the roof match the existing.
