Redland and Cotham Amenities Society have awarded a Gold Star Award to Redland Parish Church Halls for quality design

We are currently recruiting for an RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant
You will assist with a range of projects, including those at planning application, production information and ‘on site’ stages. Some previous experience in an architect’s practice is preferred. When possible we will take you to site, and will include you in design team meetings and internal design reviews. You may be expected to assist with general administrative duties in the office and with the production of marketing material.
We use VectorWorks on Macs, experience of which is an advantage but not essential.
Ideally you will live within walking / bicycling distance but we are also close to Redland train station. There is no staff parking available.

The conversion of a former office building on Broad Street in the heart of Bristol’s old city to residential use has been completed. The building provides six apartments over three upper floors, retaining a commercial use to the street on the ground floor. The project, for Pediment Holdings Ltd., involved forming a new stairwell and extending the existing building into a lightwell at the rear. The building is next to the Grade I listed Church of St John the Baptist (visible in the photo), itself built into the medieval city walls.
